He has a strong background in management and finance, combined with extensive experience in high-level diplomatic and business negotiations. Giorgi has led private and public sector enterprises with workforces of more than 3,000 employees. He also has substantial experience in the construction and rehabilitation of industry-specific infrastructure, including pipelines, civil works, and duct systems.

Giorgi Gugunishvili holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Rochester, New York, and has completed various postgraduate courses internationally.
